AAMCO was great from the service to the staff these guys know their stuff, they got my car running out of the shop and it's still running smooth.
This review is long overdue. I first called in January because my car was leaking oil and needed a new transmission seal. I spoke with Joe, who was courteous and professional both over the phone and in person. When I brought my car in, he confirmed that the transmission seal was the only damaged part. As a precaution, he also replaced a few related components. While the repair was somewhat pricey (I was informed it was labor intensive due to the make and model of my vehicle), it was worth it because the work was completed efficiently and done right. A bonus, the day after my car was returned, Joe called to inquire how it was running. A+ service and I will definitely be a returning customer.
I had my 2018 Subaru Forester for a clutch replacement in last week. While it was not cheap, it was still 20% less than the dealership. The clutch is smooth like butter and I am ready for another 150,000 miles on the poor beast. There was a slight hiccup after I picked the car up, but Joe actually met me on a Saturday and fixed the problem. I really appreciate the follow-up and attentiveness, particularly from Joe. It is really impressive. A++ I may have found a new mechanic.
Joe (and Des) were very kind and patient and HONEST in making sure I understood the issues and remedies and was comfortable with the whole process... I am totally recommending this shop!
I wanted to take a moment to thank Joe (Sayegh) for all of his help with my car. Even though the issue was difficult to solve and we had some disagreements along the way, I truly appreciate that he continued to take my car back and work on it. He hasn’t given up and as right now still making sure I have a safe and reliable car. His effort and dedication really stood out, and because of that, I will be returning to AAMCO for future repairs.
